Featurespace is an AI-native technology company specializing in fraud detection and anti-money laundering software. Founded in 2008 at the University of Cambridge, Featurespace developed the ARIC Risk Hub, a real-time machine learning platform that risk scores events in over 180 countries to prevent fraud and financial crime. The ARIC Risk Hub utilizes advanced, explainable anomaly detection to enable financial institutions to automatically identify risk, catch new fraud attacks, and identify suspicious activity in real time. More than 30 major global financial institutions, including HSBC, TSYS, Worldpay, and NatWest Group, use ARIC to protect their businesses and customers. In 2024, Featurespace was acquired by Visa, becoming part of Visa's Risk and Identity Solutions business.
