Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma

Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma (LASO) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing civil legal assistance to low-income individuals and seniors across Oklahoma. Established in 2001 through the merger of Legal Aid Services of Eastern Oklahoma and Legal Aid of Western Oklahoma, LASO operates 18 offices statewide, ensuring that all Oklahomans have equal access to the justice system. LASO offers free legal information and representation in areas such as family law, housing, consumer issues, education, domestic violence, elder law, employment, fair housing, health, public benefits, and mental health. They also provide specialized services for individuals with AIDS, seniors over 60, and victims of housing discrimination. LASO partners with national funders and local community organizations to meet the diverse legal needs of Oklahoma residents, striving to make equal justice a reality for all.
