A2J Author Documents
A2J Author® is a cloud-based software tool designed to enhance access to justice for self-represented litigants. It enables non-technical users—such as court staff, legal services organizations, and law schools—to rapidly create user-friendly, web-based document assembly projects. These projects consist of two main components: A2J Guided Interviews® and A2J Templates. The Guided Interviews® present complex legal information in a straightforward manner, allowing users to complete court documents ready for filing.
Features
A2J Author® offers a cloud-based authoring platform, eliminating the need for local software downloads. It provides a graphical flowchart map to assist authors in designing complex branching logic for interviews. The tool integrates with the LawHelp Interactive server, combining A2J Guided Interviews® with HotDocs® templates to create interactive court forms. Additionally, A2J Author® supports integration with e-filing and case management systems, enhancing its utility in legal processes.
