Abstract is a New York-based artificial intelligence company founded in 2020 that provides a proactive legislative and regulatory intelligence platform. The platform delivers real-time insights on proposed and existing government policies and regulations to AmLaw 200 firms and Fortune 500 enterprises. Abstract surfaces the most relevant risks and opportunities contextualized to each business's unique needs, risk profile, and client portfolio. The company has worked with more than 200 organizations, including law firms, major companies, lobbying shops, and public agencies, helping them craft policy, respond to regulatory changes, and other tasks. In June 2026, Abstract launched Abstract Workers, a new service that builds AI agents for legal, government affairs, compliance, and policy teams. Abstract Workers automates repetitive workflows and delivers completed work directly inside the tools clients already use. The company has raised at least $11.6 million in funding, with a $4.8 million seed round in early 2025.
