Allegory is a legal technology company that developed a cloud-based litigation management platform designed to unify and manage all information a litigation team needs regarding case documents, evidence, and witnesses. Founded in 2011 by Alma Asay, a former litigation attorney, Allegory aimed to bridge the gap between case management and eDiscovery, bringing advanced technology into the litigation workplace. The platform was tailored for complex, document-intensive litigation, providing tools to streamline case management and enhance collaboration among legal teams. In 2017, Allegory was acquired by Integreon, a global alternative legal services provider, further consolidating its position in the litigation management space. In August 2020, Litera, a legal technology company, acquired Allegory from Integreon, integrating Allegory's litigation case management capabilities into Litera's expanding suite of legal workflow and workspace technologies.
