Amplifi is an AI-powered intelligibility risk platform designed to assist legal teams and compliance functions in regulated sectors. The platform evaluates documents for readability and comprehension risk, ensuring that readers can understand, apply, and make decisions based on the content. Key features include a proprietary scoring model that assesses linguistic complexity, information structure, visual content, and numerical clarity, with each identified risk mapped to relevant regulatory obligations. Amplifi integrates directly with Microsoft Word, providing real-time intelligibility scoring, flagging of complex sentences and ambiguous terms, and AI-generated rewrite suggestions. The platform supports the full content lifecycle, from initial document assessment and simplification to collaborative review, publication gating, internal performance reporting, and external regulatory reporting. It also offers content governance tools, including a Terms and Phrases Library, a Definitions Library, and configurable Writing Standards to enforce tone, grammar, and sentence structure across all document types. Additionally, Amplifi generates audit-ready reports that can be exported by timeline, document type, or practice area, mapped directly to regulatory requirements. The platform was developed with support from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) through the Regulatory Sandbox and in collaboration with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) through its Innovation Trials programme.
