Ankar AI

Ankar AI is a London-based company founded in 2024 by Wiem Gharbi and Tamar Gomez, both former Palantir employees. The company offers an AI-powered platform designed to support patent professionals and intellectual property (IP) teams throughout the entire patent lifecycle. Ankar AI's suite of tools includes AI-assisted patent drafting, novelty and prior art analysis, invention capture and discovery, IP portfolio strategy and management, and infringement detection and enforcement. These solutions aim to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making in patent workflows. Ankar AI has secured a total of $24 million in funding over two rounds, with a Series A round of $20 million led by Atomico in December 2025. The platform is utilized by law firms, in-house IP teams, and enterprises to improve patent prosecution, protection, and generation processes.
