Annual Meeting CLE Programs

The National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL) offers an Annual Meeting featuring Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programs tailored for criminal defense attorneys. The 2026 Albert J. Krieger Annual Meeting is scheduled for August 5-8, 2026, at The Vinoy Resort in St. Petersburg, Florida. This event provides approximately 13 CLE credits, including ethics, elimination of bias, and technology credits. The program focuses on pre-trial strategies, covering case assessment, discovery, evidence organization, pre-trial motions, negotiation skills, and plea bargaining. An optional one-day Appellate Advocacy Track is also available, offering insights into building strong trial records, persuasive brief writing, issue selection, oral argument, and creative use of state constitutions. Attendees can network with peers and experts from across the country.
