The Mississippi Commission on Continuing Legal Education (CLE) is responsible for overseeing the mandatory continuing legal education requirements for attorneys practicing in Mississippi. The Commission ensures that legal professionals maintain their competence and stay updated with developments in the law by mandating a minimum of twelve credit hours of approved CLE annually, which includes at least one hour dedicated to legal ethics or professionalism. Attorneys can fulfill these requirements through various programs, including in-person seminars, online courses, and teleconferences, many of which are accredited by the Commission.
