TrueFiling is a web-based electronic filing system developed in partnership with courts to enhance access to justice. It offers an intuitive user interface for attorneys, paralegals, court reporters, and self-represented litigants, facilitating case initiation, filing submissions, court reporting, and digital case file management. TrueFiling provides 24/7 access from any internet-connected device, enabling users to file documents for existing suits or initiate new cases. The system supports one-click submissions, allowing courts to electronically accept, route, and process filings, thereby reducing the need for in-person, paper filings. TrueFiling seamlessly integrates with various case and document management systems, enabling users to create new cases, search existing ones, or add new filings. It also supports criminal eFilings within the Law Enforcement Agency Portal (LEAP), integrating with the Paperless Prosecutor Solution to improve collaboration between law enforcement and courts. The platform offers multi-jurisdictional case filings, granting users access to various courts with a single login and managing all cases through a unified interface. TrueFiling can be deployed as an electronic filing service provider (EFSP) or as an electronic filing manager (EFM), supporting connections with multiple EFSPs to centralize filing processes. The system includes a filing review workflow, providing automatic notifications to filers upon processing, reducing incoming call volumes for status updates, and offering file search capabilities for clerks. For pro se litigants, TrueFiling provides 24/7 access, allowing filings at convenient times and locations, and offers transparency with notifications upon processing. The platform also includes an Electronic Commerce module, enabling filers to view and purchase court-approved filings associated with a case and receive certified copies electronically.
